AEC Conference on Southern Literature
The AEC Conference on Southern Literature has been bringing writers to Chattanooga since 1981. The three-day literary celebration is an opportunity for writers and their fans to come together and enjoy the written word through has become one of the best-known conferences of its kind, bringing world-classdiscussions, readings and book signings.
The last Conference was March 29-31, 2007, at the Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The next Conference will be April 2-4, 2009.
Chattanooga Festival of Writers
The Chattanooga Festival of Writers celebrates the craft of writing through a series of workshops and guest speakers. The Festival occurs in the off years of the Conference on Southern Literature. The second biennial Chattanooga Festival of Writers will be March 28-29, 2008.
