Alexander Beck (François Cluzet) is still recovering from the murder of his wife Margot (Marie-Josée Croze) by a serial killer eight years earlier.  Although he was initially a suspect, he was never charged, and his life appears to be returning to normal until two bodies are found near where Margot was thought to be murdered and he is implicated in the crime.  Alex receives an e-mail that appears to be from Margot featuring a link to a live surveillance video clip that features her looking alive and well warning him that they are both being watched. When a warrant is issued for Alex's arrest, he goes on the run while he and his lawyer struggle to find out the truth about the murder as well as Margot's reappearance.
