Horton Foote

HORTON FOOTE has written several plays, including The Trip to Bountiful, which he adapted for the screen. His work, The Traveling Lady became Baby, The Rain Must Fall, when he adapted it for the screen. He wrote the screenplays for To Kill a Mockingbird and Tender Mercies and received Academy Awards for both.
