GEORGE CORE, Treasurer of the Fellowship of Southern Writers, is editor of The Sewanee Review and Southern Fiction Today. He writes regularly for The Sewanee Review, The Virginia Quarterly Review and Book World, among other scholarly journals, magazines and newspapers. He is co-editor of several books, the latest of which is Selected Letters of John Crowe Ransom.
