AEC Conference on Southern Literature
The AEC Conference on Southern Literature has been bringing writers to Chattanooga since 1981. The three-day literary celebration is an opportunity for writers and their fans to come together and enjoy the written word through has become one of the best-known conferences of its kind, bringing world-classdiscussions, readings and book signings.
The next Conference is March 29-31, 2007, at the Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Chattanooga Festival of Writers
The Chattanooga Festival of Writers celebrates the craft of writing through a series of workshops and guest speakers. The Festival occurs in the off years of the Conference on Southern Literature. The second biennial Chattanooga Festival of Writers will be in spring 2008.
