What Is CultureFest?
Held annually at Coolidge Park, Chattanooga's
popular riverfront venue, CultureFest is a celebration
of the diversity in our city and region through music, dance, literary
and visual arts, and food. A variety of local merchants and organizations
also gather to showcase their goods and services.
Participants of all ages are invited to interact, engage, or simply
enjoy the array of talented performers, food, and goods representing
the diversity in our community during this FREE event.
Started in 1999 by Chattanooga's Leadership Class, the event was adopted
as a program of the Arts & Education Council in 2002 to further
the AEC's mission of providing unique programs in the arts that celebrate
and promote learning, creative expression, and the power of ideas for
adults and children.
