RALPH ELLISON (1914-1994)
Ellison won the National Book Award for his book, Invisible Man .
His other works include a collection of critical essays, interview,
and other short works, Shadow and Act and Going
to the Territory . Ellison’s short stories, articles, and
book reviews appeared in numerous publications.
