JAMES DICKEY (1902-1997)

Dickery was awarded and National Book Award for his collection of poems, Buckdancer’s Choice. Other poetry collections include Puella, Scion, The Eagle’s Mile, and The Whole Motion. His first novel, Deliverance, became a popular motion picture; other novels include Alnilam and To the White Sea.
