Robert Penn Warren
ROBERT PENN WARREN (1905-1989) was a member of the Fugitive Poets and founding editor of The Sewanee Review.  Warren’s novel, All the King’s Men, and poetry collection, Now and Then: Poems 1976-77 have been awarded Pulitzer Prizes.  Other honors include the National Book Award, the Bollingen Prize in Poetry, and the National Medal for Literature.  He was named the United States’ first Poet Laureate in 1986.
