BOBBIE ANN MASON | |

BOBBIE
ANN MASON was born in Mayfield, Kentucky.
She received an M.A. from SUNY-Binghamton, and a Ph.D in English
from the University of Connecticut. Her
first book of fiction, Shiloh and
Other Stories, was published in 1982 and received the Ernest Hemingway
Award in 1983. Other works
include In Country and Spence + Lila. Mason
has received National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship as well as a
Guggenheim Fellowship. She
lives in rural Pennsylvania. |
