ANDREW LYTLE (1901 -1996) was a founding member of the Agrarian Society, and wrote an essay in the Agrarian Manifesto, entitled I'll Take My Stand. Books by the novelist, critic and editor include Bedford Forrest and His Critter Company, The Long Night, A Wake for the Living, Kristin: A Reading by Andrew Lytle and A Name for Evil. Honors include Guggenheim and Kenyon Review Fellowships, and a National Foundation of the Arts Humanities Award. |
